View Active Users on TEKLYNX Network License Manager – CODESOFT, LABELVIEW, and LABEL MATRIX Instructions

This Instruction Article explains how to view the active users on TEKLYNX Network License Manager. Use this assistant to help troubleshoot situations where users cannot open the software due to an inadequate user count on the license. An example is the “maximum number of authorized users has been reached…” error message displaying when opening the software.

  • Log onto the computer (typically a server) running the TEKLYNX Network License Manager


Step 1 – Go to the server hosting the TEKLYNX (CODESOFT, LABELVIEW, or LABEL MATRIX) Network Utilities

Step 2 – Look for the Network Utilities toolbar in the upper right hand corner of the screen. It is hidden by default and difficult to see. Expand it by clicking on it.

Step 3 – Select the License Service Controller (the icon second from the left in the above image) to bring up the License Service window

Step 4 – Select any instances of users who are not actually using the software and disconnect them by clicking on the square icon in the top left corner of the License Service window
