SATO WS4 – Product Information and User Guides

Product Overview
SATO’s WS4 series of 4-inch thermal printers offer great flexibility and features in a compact format. They are available as either Direct Thermal (DT) or Thermal Transfer (TT) versions. These affordably-priced desktop printers provide exceptional print quality at 203dpi or 300dpi. The WS4 can also achieve print speeds up to 6 ips. It has a ribbon capacity of 984 feet to minimize the number of ribbon changes.
When equipped with an optional External Media Stand, the printer can handle 8″ outside diameter media rolls. This gives it a capacity normally only found in larger and more expensive tabletop printers. Both print head and platen roller are easily replaced to minimize downtime for normal maintenance.
Additionally, the SATO WS4’s flexibility extends to its connectivity options as well. It has standard USB, RS232 and Ethernet ports. Optionally, it can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or 802.11 WLAN communication.
