Reversing the Barcode for Printing on Black Labels – CODESOFT Instruction Article
Summary
This Instruction Article explains how to reverse the black and white stripes needed to print the barcode in white on a black background (i.e. label) in CODESOFT.
Instructions
- Create Barcode object normally
- Open Properties for the object
- In the Code screen (using left hand navigation), change “Bars” to white and “Back” to black

- Select the Character screen (using left hand navigation), make sure a ‘Graphic’ font is used (if not, human readable will likely not appear as most printers do not have reverse character fonts)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Once the bars are changed, the ‘quiet zone’ (immediate space around the barcode) must be black. Most barcode scanners can read reversed barcode
