Location of SQL Server Settings – TEKLYNX CENTRAL Reference

This Reference Article shows the locations for the SQL server login information for TEKLYNX CENTRAL.

Information

The information below assumes that TEKLYNX CENTRAL is installed at the default location on the system.  If your installation did not use default settings, you will need to make adjustments on the file locations.

The information below is for TEKLYNX CENTRAL 4.5 and is also applicable to SENTINEL, LABEL ARCHIVE and CODESOFT 2014.

Here is the list of files you need to check and modify if you are making changes to SQL or SQL authentication information:

  • C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Tkx.TkxSvr.ServerService.exe.config
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\Label Archive Server\TkxArv.server.config
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\LABELNET WebAdmin\bin\connection.xml
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\Web.config
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\TkxSvrServers Backup\Tkx.TkxSvr.ServerConsole.exe.config
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\TkxSvrServers\Tkx.TkxSvr.ServerConsole.exe.config
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\Temp\SilentParms.ini
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\Temp\LN.iss
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\Temp\LAS.iss
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\LABELNET WebSite\connection.xml
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\teklynx\LABELNET WebAdmin\bin\connection.xml
