How to View Licensed Printer Dropoff in NiceLabel Control Center – NiceLabel Instruction Article

Summary

This Instruction Article explains how to check on the license printers in NiceLabel Control Center and how many days a printer has before it drops off this list.

Preparation

Make sure the correct permissions are granted to the user who wants to view printers in Control Center. By default, administrators will be able to use every feature.

Instructions

  1. From the dashboard select the printers tab on the left side of the website.
  2. Click on licensed printers. This should display a list of all printers used in the last 7 days, as well as any printer that is reserved. There can only be as many printers reserved as there are printers allowed by the license.
  3. Once in this tab, look to the last used column. This column will display the last time the printer with this configuration (port, driver, and name) was used. It is possible for the same physical printer to appear twice in this list if the configurations between two printer’s setup on a workstation is different.
  4. After 7 days, and if the printer is not reserved, the printer will drop off this list, detaching itself from the licensed printer count.
