Summary

This Error Message Article explains the NiceLabel error message “An error occurred while trying to execute Set Printer (1.1) action. Your license allows you to use up to printers. Explanation

This error message seems to appear from a NiceLabel form when the user attempts to select or use a printer that exceeds the printers allocated. In the situation that caused this error message, the printer allocation came from NiceLabel LMS Enterprise.

Quick Fixes

Turn off User Limitation Settings for the Application

In one case where we saw this error, the client limited the number of printers allowed for this application by user in the LMS Enterprise Command Center in the ‘User Settings’. Disabling the ‘Enable printer limitation’ setting caused the error to disappear.
